Downhill Farms' bison are raised on Gamagrass and are free from hormones and steroids. Grass-fed bison, (as with other grass-fed animals), are typically lower in fat and higher in good Omega fatty acids. (Grass-fed animals are recognized as being more delicious, more tender and juicier than typical grain fed animals.) Antibiotics are used responsibly and only when necessary.
